One Earth One Time Founder Rick LoBello is working with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International in supporting conservation efforts in the Virunga Volcanoes mountain range of East Africa. Fewer than 1000 mountain gorillas remain in this region and gorilla habitat in Virunga National Park on the Democratic Republic Congo side of the mountain range is seriously threatened by human conflict and oil and gas development. National Geographic continues to tell the story in their July 2016 issue and on the National Geographic Channel.
